Born at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on January 05, 2005 at 7:42pm on a Wednesday. Dr. Blase Pignotti delivered Madden by C-section. The first thing he said when he pulled him out of my belly was, Wow!! This sure is one good looking boy! He was so perfect when he was born, just gorgeous. Anyone would tell you that. That beautiful little boy truly graced us with his presence, it was the happiest day of our lives. |

Momma, Daddy, and Madden moved out of Grandma's and Grandpa's house and into their new condo. We had our own home; finally!!! It was wonderful, we had a lot of amazing times in that home. Mommy misses it so much. |

Madden Joseph Meyer was baptized and we dedicated his life to Jesus on this day. Pastor Rev. Edward Arle performed the ceremony at Our Savior Lutheran Church (where Momma grew up). It was a special day that is very dear to my heart. This meant a lot to me because of my own relationship with God. He is now forever in his arms. God bless my little boy! |

Madden discovered his passion at the beginning of this summer. He learned that water was his best friend (besides Daddy). He was infatuated with water. Anytime we took him swimming, which was a lot in the time he was here, he was smiling ear to ear. The water mesmorized him. He is now swimming in Heaven waiting patiently for Momma and Daddy. |

This was Madden's first swimming lesson at the YMCA and it was also Daddy's birthday. What a wonderful birthday present!! Momma and Daddy argued over who got to be in the water with him (of course Momma won). Oh, I can't even describe what I felt that day. He loved that water so much. He splashed and kicked his feet. He was even moving his arms like he was really swimming. His teacher was amazed at how this 8 month old baby boy enjoyed the water so much. Grandpa video taped this lesson and I am so grateful that he did. I love to watch it from time to time so that I can imagine I am there again. Someday, I know I will be. |

Madden passed away on this Saturday morning. This is not a day that I like to remember. I choose to remember this day as the day my little boy went to be with Jesus in a wonderful place. |
